I am out as a lesbian to my amazing bisexual sister, she respects my wishes to stay closeted to our parents and she will send my pictures about being gay and show me resources about it in an attempt to show that she understands. Despite this I’m still terrified to come out entirely. I visited my sisters school that she works at today in order to help her sort out her class room. What I saw made me feel so happy, she had resources about being LGBTQ* and from seeing her lesson plans she actually includes information about it. In my school they vaguely cover the basics and our school is very heteronormative. Furthermore my sisters school they have an anti-bullying policy that looks like it works, my school however? So little I was apart of this policy once but it did nothing, I was the only one to try. Moreover in my sisters class if she hears the phrase “that is so gay” she will actually challenge it and tell the students how offensive it is, At my school though nothing. I’ve heard a student have a conversation with a teacher about some English work and the usage of the phrase and all the teacher did was ask her what the meaning was. The education system in my school is wrong. I know for a fact that it makes my life worse and from other gay friends experiences bullying still happens. She’s had rumors spread around about her purely because she’s gay and she told the wrong people. The world needs to change.
"if an attacker tries to make you take money from an ATM, put in your PIN backwards to alert the authorities!! every ATM has this feature!!!!" that is the most badly thought out lie of all time what if your PIN was some shit like 1441
YOU KNOW YOURE IN TOO DEEP WHEN YOU PICTURE YOURSELF SNUGGLING IN BED NEXT TO THEM OR WHEN YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING FUN AND WISH THEY WERE THERE TO SHARE THAT MOMENT WITH YOU OR THE WORST IS WHEN YOU SEE SOMETHING AND THINK OH THEY WOULD LIKE THAT
And today I don’t know how to even say hey"
